I DIG MY GIG
I love my day job.
It is never boring.
I laugh lots
and hardly sit.
Time flies.
We talk about:
great books,
the writing process,
maps.
We look closely
at trees
then adopt one.
We even hug them
and wish for rain.

Good for you Julia!! You're very fortunate. Yes I do know how hard it is to identify trees. I always get the pine tree right. Enjoyed the read!!
Thanks Pat - we need a tree expert to visit the classroom for sure. And what I didn't mention about my job is that at the beginning of the school year, i have no time to think abotu anything else. Arg!
