TIDBITS

I am poemless.

My mother-in-law has been visiting for a week.

Received three poetry rejections and one acceptance.

School starts back up this week.

I've had enough with teacher meetings, meetings, meetings.

Ate a yummy omellette at Foster's Market this morning.

My daughter just turned 7, my son turns 4 in a week.

I am thinking about advertising on this blog - what do you think?

I am tired from the back-to-school hubub.

Is that how you spell hubub?

I am poemless.

I think you should advertise under the I Power Blogger button. May I suggest Google Adwords? If you ever decide to, I could easily do it for you.

Also, if you see a big blue section in your dashboard, click the link. This will bring you to the new Blogger BETA.

Yummy is always good, even if it's an omellette.
Great ages for kids!!
Do you get paid for advertising?
Hubub, spelled right or wrong is still hubub.

You do get paid for advertising. Although, I've only got $1.02 of revenue.

Hi Roxx - welcome,

Whadya know! It is a word - but I spelled it wrong according to Webster.com:

Main Entry: hub·bub
Pronunciation: 'h&-"b&b
Function: noun
Etymology: perhaps of Irish origin; akin to Scottish Gaelic ub ub, interjection of contempt
1 : NOISE, UPROAR
2 : CONFUSION, TURMOIL

Congratulations on the acceptance. For much of my career, I've felt that with article proposals, one out of ten does the trick.

Hubbub--I think.

Thanks Malaika,
I've run out of walls! :)

Hi Peggy - 1 to 10 sounds about right. Although, I just had a fluke - another acceptance. So that's 2 out of 5 . . . and you're right about hubbub.

I've looked into that Jake, Lulu looks great!
