So, now she's silent, but not strangely.
Arranging and rearranging her brood
with thoughts that scatter themselves
throughout her mind and heart.
Wondering about the tomorrows
that hold themselves emotionless
as they wait for new adults.
The ones she will give them reluctantly
whenever their times come.
